About F.U.N. Progressives
Leading the Progressive movement in Fremont, Union City, & Newark
We started as Tri-City F.U.N. for Bernie, a small group of local residents who were passionate about the ideas of the Bernie Sanders campaign.
After the 2016 primary, we formed together as "FUN Progressives." A group of local residents who are committed to supporting and running progressive candidates for local government positions and supporting causes that help the many, not the few.
Our mission is for a coalition of progressives in this community to come together to run, support, endorse, and volunteer for our local progressive candidates to make change happen from the bottom up!
We are proud to be the only chartered Our Revolution club in Southern Alameda County, and have used our endorsement power to help strong progressives throughout California receive the national endorsement.

Local Activism & Forums
Since our inception in 2016, we are so proud of the work we have done in hosting forums with local candidates and elected officials, having special guest speakers, and informative sessions on local, state, and federal legislation. We are proud of the work we have done to transition the state Democratic party back into a party for the working and middle class Americans through various work on progressive campaigns, activism within the state and county committes, and an issue-focused drive.
